Protecting yourself and others from COVID-19 is still an important part of staying well, especially during flu season. At Cunninghams Pharmacy in Bray, we’re proud to support the HSE’s vaccination programme by offering first and second doses, as well as booster shots, all in line with the latest national guidance.
Who can get a COVID-19 booster?
Booster vaccines are currently recommended for certain groups, including:
People aged 60 and over
Individuals with weakened immune systems
Healthcare workers
Pregnant women
If you’re not in one of these categories, you may still be eligible. Feel free to speak to our pharmacy team or check with your GP to confirm.
Before you book
Make sure enough time has passed since your last COVID-19 vaccine or infection, usually at least six months. Our team can advise you on eligibility and timing if you’re unsure.

You can book your flu shot at the same time as your COVID-19 booster, making it quick and convenient to protect yourself this winter.

Our COVID-19 antigen test is a fast and simple way to check for a current infection. The test involves a gentle nasal swab taken by one of our trained pharmacists, with results available in under an hour.
If your result is negative, you’ll receive an EU Digital COVID Certificate by email. You can upload it to your phone using the COVID Tracker App or another compatible platform.
Please note, antigen tests are less sensitive than PCR tests. They’re most effective when you’re likely to be infectious and at risk of spreading the virus.
